Some random thoughts

These are wee thoughts I have picked up in recent days and I thought I would share them with you.  Some are funny, others require some thought and reflection.  I will add to them and welcome any you wish to share.  I read one yesterday in my daily reading app which was excellent and I tried to memorise it but didn’t so this is what this space is for.  Enjoy and I look forward to hearing and sharing yours. 

• A drop of silence is worth a waterfall of words.
• Remember just going to church doesn’t make you a Christian anymore than standing in a garage makes you a car.
• If God had a fridge, your picture would be on it.  If He had a wallet your photo would be in it, He sends you flowers every spring, Face it He is crazy about you. 
• God didn’t promise days without pain, laughter without sorrow, sun without rain, but He did promise strength for the day, comfort for the tears, and light for the way.   
• Before you criticise someone you should walk a mile in their shoes.  That way, when you criticise them, you are a mile away and have their shoes.
