Welcome to Rev Sarah’s blog. I am the minister of Forth St Paul’s Parish Church and have been for the last five years. In that time I have turned another decade (into the 30s!), gained two beautiful children, and grown up just a little. And that is just me. The Church family is thriving and developing new ways of being a church in the community as well as growing in faith and confidence. We are also branching out into the internet and someone thought it wise that I was given my own space to write messages, reflections and debates. Watch this space and see what happens. Comments and suggestions are always welcome. Catching hold of any Minister in person is usually pretty difficult but we do spend time on the internet and can take part in discussions at any time of the day and night.
Jesus spent time teaching and answering the questions of his followers and the religious leaders of the day. There is nothing wrong in asking questions or pondering the truths of God. But just remember – Jesus is the Son of God and knew all the answers. I can’t make the same promise!
‘In the beginning there was the Word. The Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. All things were made by him, and nothing was made without him.’ John 1:1-3 (NCV Anglicised Edition)
